The Buzz–Positivity in Your Inbox

The Buzz from Happy FixThe main focus of Happy Fix has always been to provide  people with the  support and guidance needed to create their happiest lives. This week we took another giant step toward that goal by sending out our very first newsletter, The Buzz.  I know that may not sound like much but I can’t tell you how happy it made me to know that the newsletter was getting to people who signed up for it and would use the information to create and spread happiness.

Newsletters are funny.  Some of them provide tips or guidance on different topics.  Some are straight up sales pitches.  I want The Buzz to be different.

Why The Buzz?

I named it The Buzz for a couple of reasons.

  1.  The Buzz reminds me of bees who are vital to growth of everything from flowers to food.  They go from plant to plant, pollinating everything they touch.  I want the ideas behind Happy Fix to be spread far and wide, helping people to grow stronger so they in turn can help others. The Buzz helps me do that.
  2. “What’s the Buzz, Cuz?” is an informal greeting that I’ve used since I was a kid.  What’s going on?  How’s your life? It serves a number of purposes.  The Buzz is my way of connecting with people who are committed to improving their own lives and the lives of people in their communities.
  3. The true definition of Buzz is a continuous humming.  I want the topics covered in  The Buzz to stay with you, helping and inspiring you throughout your day.

Here’s What You Get

The Buzz has already been sent out to folks on our email list.  Not on it? Click here to sign up and I’ll send you the inaugural copy.

I want you to look forward to receiving The Buzz in your mailbox every month not dread another email that isn’t useful to you.  In the newsletter, I’ll give you some tips to live a happier life.  I’ll hit on topics like goal setting, gratitude, happiness, kindness, self-care, mindfulness and resilience.  I will also include stories from people who have taken obstacles and turned them into stepping stones to a better life.  There will be book, movie and music recommendations, just because.

I want this newsletter to be uplifting and something you want to share.   Reading the news can make the happiest person feel the weight of negativity.  Shake it off and read The Buzz.  I know you’ll be happy you did.

Please let me know what you think and above all, thanks for giving up some of your time to read it.  It truly does mean a lot.
